Grotte de Fontrabiouse

The Fontrabiouse Cave is located in the heart of Capcir, in the Catalan Pyrenees, on a limestone massif. In a unique environment, at the gates of a typical and perfectly preserved mountain village, discover the underground environment through a comfortable layout designed on two levels.

 

Composed of a network of galleries and immense rooms charged with very beautiful concretions (stalactites, stalagmites, fistulas, draperies, monumental columns as well as superb aragonites of immaculate whiteness), the Fontrabiouse cave has been fitted out, while respecting the site.

The Fontrabiouse Cave always enchants the youngest because it reflects their imagination and illustrates the image that our children have of the underground world. As for adults, they will discover a natural environment of rare beauty. To enhance the discovery of this underground world, a clever play of light punctuates this visit.
